A group of children accidentally drop some of their biscuits on their way to a forest picnic. This causes a bunch of playful nursery rhyme characters to appear from the undergrowth, scrambling to get their share of the delicious biscuits.
This spot presented us with the opportunity to explore new techniques and combine live action with CG. We found a perfect location in a forest just outside Cape Town to shoot it. The forest was rather barren and brown so we covered it in homemade moss, roots and various lush plants. A large number of miniature, hand-crafted props were added to the set, such as Polly’s kettle as well as Humpty Dumpty’s house. All the characters and VFX were computer-generated and crafted in such a way that they would blend stoically with our sets. We were extremely proud of the end result. This campaign also became an extensive print campaign.
